A message from Los Angeles states that a bandit stepped aboard a Santa Fe train, just as it was leaving fcY Chicago at midnight, and locking a rear compartment car from the remainder of the train, he gathered within ten minutes £3OOO in cash and jewels from notable Hollywood figures, and decamped.
