i WOMEN’S DIVISION. The annual meeting ot the Soutn Canterbury Women's Division of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union was held in the Y.W.C.A., on Thursday, the president (Mrs P. R. Talbot) presiding over a good attendance. The annual report, presented by the president, stated that the Branch had been formed as a result of a visit from Mrs C. C. Jackson (Dominion president). The branch had been carried on quite successfully, and there was now a membership of fifty. A great number of recipes had been received and forwarded to headquarters for the new cookery book.
