WELLINGTON'S BIG PROFITS. By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, April 15. The Mayor announced at a Chamber of Commerce dinner that the affairs of the city were flouri.shing. He said ’t in the case of the general account, there was a surplus of £11,941. Departmental profits were as follows: — Tramways and buses, £1454 (after a loss of £II.OOO on buses alone); electric light and power, £60,301; milk, £6800; total profit £80,*95.
