WIDER POWERS.
SOUGHT BY COMMONWEALTH GOVERNMENT. (United Press Association—By Electrll Telegraph—Copyright.) CANBERRA, April 5. In addition to the present Referendum proposals now before the House of Representatives, which seek to give the Government power to alter the Constitution at will and also additional industrial powers, the Prime Minister has launched a third proposal giving the Commonwealth complete powers over trade and commerce.
