AUSTRALIAN SELECTION CRITICISED. (United Press Association- By Electrle Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received April 6. 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 6. G. Golding’s friends are disappointed at his omission from the Australian team for the Empire Games, and express opinion that he should have been given priority over Bascombe. Accordingly Golding has issued a challenge to Bascombe for a match over 440 yards in Sydney. The latter has accepted, and the match will be decided in May.
