LIBERAL CABINET IN DANGER.
South Australian Elections. GOVERNMENT SEATS LOST. (United Press Association—By Electric Tel earaah—couirrlght .) (Received April 6, 5.5 p.m.) ADELAIDE, April 6. The general election was held in South Australia yesterday. Counting votes is necessarily slow, owing to the complicated preferential voting system. Indications are that the Liberals, which were the Government Party, will lose seats without gains anywhere. The seat of the Premier (Mr Butler) is in jeopardy. Contests occurred in forty-two constituencies . for which there were ninety-five candidates. All the members of the Assembly, and half the members of the Legislative Council went to the country.
