FIREWORKS EXPLODE
DISASTER IN PHILADELPHIA STORE. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) NEW YORK, April 3. At Philadelphia, stored fireworks exploded prematurely. A series of crashes were heard for thirty miles. Ten were killed and 100 injured. As blast followed blast so heavily motor cars were swept off the roads. A moving train rocked. Thousands of windows in the area of several square miles were smashed. Pedestrians were whirled off their feet. Several of the victims were blown to pieces.
