SMALL CHEQUES IN AUSTRALIA. (United Press Association—By Electrlo 7i’elegr aph—Cod yright.) SYDNEY, April 4. Although 3,000,000 more sheep were shorn during the present season than last year, the value of the clip in Sydney declined in value nearly 40 per cent. This year’s figures are given by the Government Statistician as approximately £18,310,000, whereas last year it amounted to £31,100,000.
