At the wool sales, the offerings totalled 850*2 and of these 8072 were sold. Also 1186 privately. There was a very active market, animated by Japanese and continental competition and good support of Yorkshire. Prices continued on a firming tendency at its best point of the week. Greasy merino made 30d.
