SWIMMING.
LIKELY VISIT OF AUSTRALIANS. (United Press Association—By El actrio Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, August 23. Noel Ryan, the Australian distance swimming champion, has stated his intention of visiting New Zealand next season, provided that leave can be obtained, which probably will be granted. The Queensland swimmer, Grier, has not yet replied to the invitation to make the trip. The tour probably will be during December.
