DAIRY BOARD.
ADDRESS BY CHAIRMAN. By Telegraph— Pwu SeeaetaUen. MASTERTON, August 23. The chairman of the Dairy Froduoe Board (Mr W. A. loros), addressed • meeting of fanners at Carterton today. A vote of confidence in him as a representative on the Board was carried without a single dissentient voice. Mr lorns contradicted a statement made by Mr Brechin, of Pahlatua, that some cheese from the North Tiraumea Company had been carried round the coast of New Zealand for 82 days before being despatched overseas. Mr lorns said the total output of the factory was 2947 crates, of which 1973 were shipped from Wellington direct to the Old Country. A quantity of 133 crates had been carried round tbs coast for twenty-one days. Mr Brechin had evidently made a mistake.
