ELECTORAL COMMITTEE NOMINATED. (Special to the “Herald-”) CHRISTCHURCH. August 22. Nominations for an Electoral Committee to elect --.irectors of the Wheat Pool closed this afternoon. The following were nominated and elected for the Mid-Canterbury and South Canterbury districts. — Mid-Canterbury (between Rakaia and Rangitata (Rivers).— Frederick William Ruddenklau <Winchmore>, George Herbert Lill <Willowby), Frederick Frampton (Sea view), Harry Brown (Seaview). Frank George Evans (Ashburotn Forks), E. A. Bland <Methven), James Bland (Winchmore), J. A. Fleming (Lismore), W. A. Sheat (Westerfleld), Samuel Taylor (Eiffelton). South Canterbury (between Rangitata and Waitaki Rivers).—Arthur Ward (Soutliburn), William Jackson Black (Salisbury), John Andrew Paterson iWinchester), Leslie Victor Talbot (Temuka), Alexander Finlay Campbell (Fairlie), John Alexander McLean (Geraldine), Nicholas Geaney (Makikihi), John Dempsey (Hook>, Samuel John Bailey (Morven), J. E. Gardiner (Upper Waitohi).
The electoral committees u’ill meet on October 9 to elect directors.
