MAURETANIA BEATS HER OWN RECORD. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyrlght ) LONDON. August 21. The Mauretania steamed from New York to Eddystone Lighthouse in 4 days 17 hours 49 minutes at an average speed of 27.22 knots an hour, beating her own record by four hours, but failing to equal the Bremen’s record by two hours.
