A cable message from London reports that Lord Baden Powell has accepted the New Zealand Boy Scouts Association’s invitation to visit New Zealand in 1930.
A cable message from Honolulu reports that Dr. Hardie Neil anc. Dr. Harry Harris have been appointed on the Resolution Committee of the Pan-Pacific Conference of Surgeons.
Among the passengers who left Sydney yesterday by the Niagara, is Mr Justly Rawlings, general manager for Anthony Hordern and Sons, Ltd., who will spend a holiday in New Zealand.
