WHAT AUTHORITY?
To tho Editor of the "Timaru Herald." Sir,: —In reading in the columns of your paper I noticed an article entitled Sunday picnics. Your correspondent. “Hands Off Sunday,” seems, to be very much concerned about what he terms the breaking of the day \ of rest. As I know of no spiritual authority proving Sunday to be the day of rest I should be greatly obliged if your correspondent could give us the necessary proof.—l am, etc., ENQUIRER.
