RAIN IN AUSTRALIA.
REPORTS FROM QUEENSLAND. (United Press Association—By Eleetrle Telegraph—Copyright.) BRISBANE*, February 25. Heavy rain is reported in Queensland. Rockhampton recorded 31 inches from Wednesday until Saturday morning. Eight inches fell at Yamba in three hours. Flood waters invaded parts of Rockhampton. At Casuarina island at the mouth of the Fitzroy river, 40 inches were registered in two days.
