MILTON STABBING CASE.
ACCUSED CONVICTED OF ASSAULT. By Telegraph— Preai Association. DUXEDIN, May' 1. William Hassett was charged in, the Supreme Court this morning with Von,. or about April 15th, attempting,;, to murder Charles Arthur Lloyd. ACgus?d was also charged with wounding :|ffoyd with intent to cause bodily haraV,vwith assaulting Lloyd; and with .cahriatjfeac-. trial bodily harm under such stances that if death had occurred he would have been guilty of nffyislaughter. He pleaded not guilty. „ - ; The evidence showed that the charges arose out of a stabbing ajfipay at Milton. It was. alleged that*, Hassett was annoyed because!
