BALL AT ORARI. The Orari Tennis Club brought the season to a close by holding a plum and lancy dress bali on Ermay evening. There was a very large attendance, tno hall Doing filled to its utmost capacity, ine committee worked assxiuousiv .to make the gathering a success, and their efforts were crowned with happy results, both socially and financially. The hall was decorated with greenery, llax and cabbage thees. Purple and gold shreamer-j were hung across the room, and drawn up in tno centre of the hall, to form a large canopy. Special attention had been paid to tlie preparation of the floor, Extras were played by Aliss R. Brenton. and Alessrs D." Campbell and G. Simes. Alessrs

The committee presented each, person with a coloured paper hat and mask as they came in tlie hull and when tho Grand' Alnrch took place the effect was very pretty. Air W. JO.
