During a stormy sitting of the Chamber of Deputies,, extreme Nationalist and Communist deputies repeated the allegations of maladministration against M, Yarenne (Governor-General of Indo-China) and one of his subordinates. One speaker alleged that the hospital nurses at Dariac were dancing girls, employed by M. Yarenne, in a spirited two hours’ defence, declared that the accusations were gi oundless, and had been prompted by business interests, which were dissatisfied with the protection extended the natives. He announced that he had tendered his resignation.
