WEDDINGS.

MURRAY—TOZER. Amid a profusion of beautiful flowers at the Geraldine Methodist Church on 23rd. November, tho marriage took place of Winifred, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs S. Tozer, Geraldine, to Colin, eldest son of Mr and Mrs A. C. Murray, Rugby Street, Timaru. The Rev. Mr Ford officiated, and Mr B. Logan presided at tho organ. Tho bride, who was given away by her father, wore a handsome frock of ivory crepe do chine, with satin roses appliqued in silver. The soft tulle veil, prettily arranged, was held in place by orange blossom. A sheaf of arum lilies completed a. charming toilette. Miss Betty Murray, Timaru, sister of the bridegroom, was chief bridesmaid, and wore a dainty frock of rose crepede chino and black crinoline hat. Her posy consisted of pink and white flowers. Miss Thelma Helam, Geraldine, neice of the brido, was also a bridesmaid, and wore a sweet frock of lemon crepe do chine, with black crinoline hat. She carried a posy of yellow and white flowers. The bridegroom wasattendee! by Mr Harry Woodham, Geraldine, as best man, and Mr Jack Murray, Oamaru, brother of tho bride-1 groom, carried out the duties of groomsman.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Church Hall, where the usual toasts were honoured. Mrs Tozer, mother of the bride, wore a becoming frock of figured mai-ocain, and fiat to match. She carried a posy of red roses. Mrs Murray, the bridegroom’s mother, wore a navy costume and. crinoline hat. She carried a posy of cream roses.

Later, Mr and Mrs Colin Murray left for the north, Mrs -Murray wbaring a navy ensemble suit and hat cn suite.

GILMORE—HARRIS. 1 v A very pretty wedding was solemnised , at the Sacred Heart Church, Timaru, . the Rev. Father Peoples officiating, - when .Dorothy Agnes, second daughter t of Mr and Mrs G. Harris, Talbot Street, Geraldine, was united to John Joseph i Gilmore, eldest son of Mr and Mrs J. ’ Gilmore, Cain Street, Timaru. The ? bride, who entered the church on the arm of her lather, to : the strains of the “Wedding March,” played by Mrs N. D. Mangos, was charmingly attired in a georgette frock, daintly trimmed with radium lace and pearls. Her veil, l which formed the train, was arranged with a coronet of orange blossom, and she carried a bouquet of azaleas, lily of the valley, hyacinths, and maiden I hair fern, with streamers of satin rib- ' lion. She was attended by Miss Mona ! Sidey (cousin of the bride), -and Miss Margaret Gilmore (sister of tho bridegroom) as bridesmaids. Both were daint ly attired in frocks of pale blue and mauvo erepe-de-chine, with streamers and rosebred trimmings, with black crinoline hats. Both wore gold armlets, the gift of the'* bridegroom. They carried bouquets of tulips, and maiden hair fern. Mr’Peter Gilmore (brother of the bridegroom) acted as best man, and Mr William Harris (brother of the bride) was groomsman. Tho bride, on leaving tho church, was presented with a white horseshoe by her little neice, Margaret Murray. After the ceremony, ' the wedding breakfast was held at “The Oxford,” where guests numbering about sixty did honour to the usual toasts. Tho guests were received by the bride’s mother, who was wearing a frock of black satin, relieved with white and mauve hat. The bridegroom’s mother wore a frock of black and white jersey silk, black tulle hat relieved with cerese. Later in the day, the happy couple left for the south, amidst showers of confetti, the bride travelling in a frock of brown silk marocain, with jade green crinoline hat with hand* made floweis and gold trimming. She also wore a beaver coney fur coat, the gift of tho bridegroom. Tho bride’s present to the bridegroom was a wristlet watefi. The guests afterwards adjourned to tho residence of Mr and Mrs J. Gilmore, where a most enjoyable afternoon and evening were spent.
