SOCIAL AT WAITUNA.

A social and dance was held at the Waituna School recently in honour of Air and Airs L. C. Robinson, who are leaving the district. 'There was a very large crowd present in spite of the wet weißhei-, which spoke volumes for tho popularity of the guests of the eveninjr. Extras were played by Misses Leon- | aid and O’Brien and Air Hodges. A song was contribu^*l by Air C. Campbclf.’ , , , , After supper had been handed round bv tho ladies, Air R. D. Air Smith then presented Air L. O. Robinson with a well-filled wallet. Air Robinson, in replying, thanked those present for the honour done to Alls Robinson and himsell that night, and said that everything he had done while secretary of the School Committee had been done for love of the work, , and the pleasure which it gave him.
