It was decided to hold a euchre match and farewell dance on (October 29. The .election of officers for the ensuing year resulted "to follows: —Patron, Mr M. Mazo; ‘ presi-' dent, Dr. P. Benham; vice-presidents,; Messrs G. Acton, A. Crossmon, A. W; Gosling, and D. K. MePhorson ; secretary and Mr B. Felton; club captain. Mr A., H. Roborts; goneral committee, president, ; captain, secretary, Messrs J. Diok, F. ’B. Wilson; ground committee, Messrs H. Davidson, R. Barker. G. Parker, T. Smith. It. Jones; ladies’ committeo, Mrs Roberts, Mrs Dick, Mrs Arnott, Mrs Bchham, Miss Batchelor, Miss Pholon, find Miss Rime. . It was decided to hold-the opening day on October 7.
GOLF CLTJB. On Saturday last the Point Golf Club held their closing day, mixed foursomes, and the presentation of championship cups and trophies terminating a very successful season. The president (Rev. D K McPherson) presented the trophies offered for various competitions, which resulted as follows i Ladies’ senior championship.—Mrs ,T. Dick; runner-up, Mrs H. D.
