HANGERS v. COLMOCO

These two teams lined up to contest for tho dividing points that separated them in the Cave Cup. Some oi the Blues’ main-stays failed to turn up, and their side was composed of ten players, two being young players. Colmoco fielded a full team. The Blues won the toss and elected to play with tho sun and what wind camo across the field. Before Rangers had found their bearings, in a mis-kick by one of their own side, Colmoco had a goal awarded to them within five minutes of starting. Colmoco were having the best of the exchanges, as Gunn, Durning and the Allinghams had a good understanding. Miskicks were tho run of things for a time, the Blues being the worst offenders. Anj derson and Grieve had to do their best to keep off the Colmoco attack. Green in goal had to deal with several shots. A certain amount of feeling crept into tho p’ay, and the referee at one time had to caution two players. 'Hie Blues tried time and again to pierce tho Colmoco defence, their finishes being hampered by want of good wing forwards. Davies, Logic and Brown gave of their best. JUNIOR FOOTBALL. Rangers Junoirs defeated Russell Juniors by 1 goals to nil. ami also the Thistle juniors by 3 goals to 1. Messrs T. Sherry and E. Smail refereed the games.
