At the Orient meeting, Mr Kenneth Anderson, who presided, said in view of the Australian labour troubles, it was not likely that there would be any change in cargo rates homewards unless it was upward. The managers were considering a readjustment of the Company’s claims, to make it reflect more accurately the amount of money shareholders have at risk in the business, but they did not contemplate the capitalisation of more than some portion of the reserve.
