WEDDINGS.

LAAVSON—FLANAGAN. A very pretty wedding took place yesterday afternoon at the Presbyterian Church," Highfield, when Amy, only child of Air J. E. Flanagan, Craigie Street, was married by the Rev. A. Bcgg, to Douglas, oldest son of Airs Lawson, Sarah Street, and the late AV . Lawson. The church was beautifully decorated with mauve and pink sweet, peas and yellow roses by the girl friends of the bride. '

MORRIS—BROWN. A prety wedding took placo on Thursday afternoon at Orari Presbyterian Church, when Miss Margaret Brown, second daughter of the late Mr and Mrs J. Brown, of Taieri, was married to Mr Roland A. Morris, eldest son of Mr I. Morris, of Temuka. The Rev. J. Anderson officiated, and Mrs Killoli played the wedding music. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr Geo. Brown, wore a bcautifri frock of powder blue crepe .silk marocain embroidered in silver, with silver lace panel ; her tulle veil was caught at each side with orange blossoms and a circle 'of pearls, and she carried a. sheaf of arum lilies. The bridesmaid, Miss Doris Brown, wore beige coloured crepo de chene trimmed with pink velvet roses, black picture hat, beige silk stockings and • _ black shoos. Her bouquet was of delicately tinted sweet peas and*fern, 1 with’ wide pink satin streamers. Little Mavis Brown, niece of the bride, made a dainty’ flower girl, dressed in mauve crepe de chene with head band of mauve and pink flowers tied with a large tulle bow. She carried a basket of mauve and pink sweet peas. Each wore a- gold armlet, the gift of the bridegroom. Mr W. Morris attended his brother as best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of Mr and Mrs Geo Brown, “Gladstone,” Oran. Later when Mr and Mrs Morris left on their wedding tour, the latter wore a navy costume with fawn and bluo hat.
