RIFLE SHOOTING.
TJMAEU DEFENCE CLUB. The Timaru Defence Ride Club bold a match last Saturday, seven shots each at dUU and fiOO yards. The wind, being very tricky at times, made it hard for most of the members. The first prize went to R. Armstrong, a new member, and a. very promising young shot. The following are the scores: —
