Mr E. D .Mosley, S.M., left Timaru for. Christchurch yesterday. .. Mr T. M. Wilford, Leader of the Opposition, became 54 years of age yesterday.
Mr S. Saunders passed through Timaru yesterday by the express from the south.
Mr A. J. Cooper, left Timaru yesterday on an extended trip to England and -America.
Mr H. 0. Lovell, of Temuka, has been appointed manager of the “Grey River Argus.” -Mr P. R- Climie (organiser to the Canterbury t Progress League) left Timaru on his return to Christchurch yesterday.' Mr T. M. Wilford, Leader of the Opposition, was a - passenger by the express from Dunedin yesterday, on bis return to Wellington. Mr W. H. Lilley, stationmaster, at Winchester, has been transferred to Dunedin. He will leave at an early date to take up his new duties.
