YOUNG GIRL’S CONFESSION.

At Los Angeles, a fourteen-year-old girl, whose name is withheld, confessed to setting fire to Stope Development School, at Plata Del Rey, on 31st May, when twenty-four lives were lost. The district attorney announces that the girl confessed that she did not like the sphool and decided to burn it, so all the girls could go home and be free and have a good time like other girls. , She did not mean to kill anybody. ' " '
