DIPLOMA FRAUDS.

A St. Louis (Missouri) message says that the State-wide investigation into the meclicai frauds, particularly tho so-called “diploma mills” resulted in the conviction of Dr. Robert Adcox, a noted St. Louis physical!, who lias been sentenced to tho years imprisonment in a penitentiary. ~ , It is stated to have been proved that Dr. Adcox bribed a local superintendent of schools to issue to the Medical College, a registration certificate taisclv declaring tlie registrant had completed his high school education, thereby enabling him to enter the Medical College. This is the States first conviction in connection with tho medical frauds, and paves the way to sentences for a group of Dr. Adcox s associates.
