1 By ; Cable—Press Association —Copyright. (Received 8.40 p.m., June 17.) LONDON, June 16. Mr Macpherson in his second .article in the “Daily Chronicle” states that New Zealand is an ideal country foi newcomer farmers. It is difficult to realise that the country has been developed in such a short space oi ' time. One cannot fail -to be impressed by the'well laid-ouri towns,,, splendidly equipped ports, gigantic schemes foi water power, and the general use of labour saving devices, but it is not oj> the individual effort alone that the country depends for its prosperity. Coupled with that ’ is the - collective spirit of co-operation, which is, a phenomenal feature of the economic ’ life; by linking the individual with cooperative efforts. In production, transport and marketing, New Zealandevs are attaining a standard of efficiency which is a model to the rest of the Empire.
