The Japanese steamer Ugamaru is reported to be aground at Manila. The vessel has on board 5000 tons of coal for Manila, which will have to be removed in lighters.

'Hie cuts bled so freely as to necessitate skilled attention, which was given by Mr W. W. Smith, who cleansed the wounds and stitched one of them. It is expected that it will be fully three months before Cremona will be fat tor work again-
