LONDON, June 13
The’ “Daily Chronicle” has begun the publication of an interesting series of articles by Mr Fenton Macphersou (Special Commissioner in Australia and New Zealand) regarding the industrial possibilities of the British people of the Far South. Summing up his journey he says he found good reason to marvel at the restraint wherewith Australians and New Zealanders had written aiid spoken of the great possibilities of their countries. In a desire to avoid over-stat6ment, they had fallen into the error of under-stating the case.
Mr Macplierson was specially impressed with the kindly considerate way New Zealand migrants were treated. There was an entire absence of fussy officialism. Each family and individual was interviewed separately.
