JURY DISAGREES.
SERIOUS CHARGE AGAINST YOUNG GIRL.

After three days’ hearing at the Norwich Assizes the jury for the second time disagreed in the case ot Dorothy Myrtle Thurburn, a pretty girl of 25, who was accused of 'sending anonymous letters to residents of Sheringham, where she lives. The previous trial was held last November.
The next trial is fixed for October. Meanwhile the Crown may drop tlrn case.
The Judge commented: “It is not fair to the girl for the case to hang over her head for months and months. She is young, and it may ruin het whole life.”
