VINDICATED TOO LATE
GENERAL O’DWYER PARALYSED
By Cable—Press Association —Copyright. LONDON, June 8.
The newspaper “People,” says that Sir Michael O’Dwyer was vindicated too late. He suffered a nervous breakdown and was stricken by paralysis n 1921. He lies paralysed at his home in Bristol, arid is nursed by a devoted wife. He is too ill to 'be told of Mi Justice MeCafdie’s pronouncement, as such excitement would prove fatal. His Anglo-Indian sympathisers, before he broke down, subscribed £25,000 and purchased a secluded Wiltshire farm.
