The Ambassadors' Conference decided to send to Memel, immediately, a Commission to create a provisional government, which, under Allied authority, will be given the task of restoring order, after which the Lithuanian Government will he reminded of the grave responsibility. It will be asked to take all practicable means to induce the Lithuanian inhabitants of the Memel area to accept the Commission’s authority.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
