In a message to Captain "R. Gee, V.C., who was defeated at Woolwich at the general election, and is now the Conservative candidate for the Newcastle byelection against Mr Arthur Henderson (Labour), and Mr Barnes (Wee Free), Mr Bonar Law says the only hope of relieving unemployment is the revival of trade which is beginning- to appear. Confidence in such revival, which would defeat Socialism, Avas increasing greatly.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
