HUNGER. STRICKEN PEASANTS, VILLAGES BURNED.

Hunger stricken Russians are setting lire to villages as they evacuate them, and trok io other parts of the country. Trenches have been dug round Moscow against tho masses ot peasants marching thither. Reports are current that the Retrograd garrison has again mntpik’d owing to tho curtailment of rations.
