The Legislative Council yesterday granted leave of absence for the remainder of the session to the Hon. Sir H. Miller, on account of illness. On behalf of tho Sick and Wounded Fund, Major Kennedy, of Geraldine, has received from Miss E. H. Tripp a contribution of £3O.
