AMUSEMENTS.

FULLERS' PICTURES. _ Fullers' drew a great house and rightly so last night to see an epic picture entitled "A Hero of the Dardanelles," which occupied one half of the programme. It recounts with life-like realism the incidents in the call, enlisting " and preparation of one of our trallant lads to fight the Empire battles. The story follows the hero to the beach and heights of Gallipoli, and shows some stirring battle incidents that caught the crowd and raised the cheer. The picture is well worth seeing, it preaches indirectly,, and without cant, the urgent demand for men and shows the honour that awaits the Empire's defenders. Tho topical gazette was full of interest, and the war summary showed different phases of the struggle excellently. "Her Grand Parents" is a neatly told story, and the rest of the programme is worthy of its place. THE LYCEUM. The Lyceum was crowded again last evening, and the new programme was entirely satisfactory to the large crowd of patrons- "A Syren, of Corsica" is a drama dealing with the exciting adventures of an American in the pleasure resorts of the Mediterranean, and his infatuation with a Corsican woman. The woman plans skilfully to ensnare the American. When she fails, her fury knows no limit. The story is told by a very strong company of" artists, and the setting is most interesting. There | are some fine top-ca l , pictures, and a j very interesting Pafhe Gazette. The comedies are also good.
