LONDON, Sept. 5 (p.m.). An enthusiastic meeting of Italians iu London passed resolutions of sympathy with England. Speakers affirmed that it is Italy's duty t-o fight hy\ the side of the Allies. BULGARIA. EXPRESSED NO SYMPATHY. SOFIA.. Sept. 5. It is officially denied tiiat Iving Ferdinand's reply expressed sympathy with Hungary. The incident has resulted in the recall of the Bulgarian Consul at Biula Pest. TURKEY. CONSTANTINOPLE, Sept. 5. The Russian, French and English Ambassadors renewed their assurance that 'Turkey's independence and integrity will bo maintained against all comers if Turkey observes strict neutrality. |
