Beef —Scotch sides have met a slow sale at 61 d to 6|d., English 6d to 6|d. Mutton —Scotch to Sd, English 7-4 d to 7Jd, Dutch 6id to 7d.\ Tegs—Scotch and English of favourable weights, (82 to 40 lbs) have been plentiful and cheap, prices ruling at 7Jd to Sid. Dutch to 7£d. Lambs —English, Dew season's, very few =• marketed yet, but realise to lid. Veal 7-od to 9d. Pork 6d to 7l<&. Frozen mutton. —A firm tone prevails and no alteration of prices of Australians is to be recorded. 40 to 6Q N 4 3-16 d, secondary 35 to 55 4 3-16 d, ewes -30 to 50 4d, old New Zealand's 1 06 to 64 are realising 4|d to sgd, with very few buyers at the latter price. South American 40 to 00 4§d, 56 to 72 4i-d. . Lambs. —Heavy arrivails of. Australians caused bujyers to act cautiously, but the market has a firm tone. Values are l-16th lower on best. New season's Wellington's are due on,the market next week, and good prices are expected to be realised for them. The comparative cheapness of small Scotch tegs however, may prevent' record prices being obtained. OJd • season's lambs consist. of Canterbury. which are on offer 6-gd undfer 36, 6|d_36 to, 42.
