The course was in fine order. Eleven bookmakers were licensed, five inside at £-2(1 10s each, and sis outside at £ls los; £11,210 was handled at tiio miachine for the two days, against £10,730 for the spring meeting last year. Results:—• CALEDONIAN HANDICAP HURDLES;.!.} miles —Captain X, Appin 2, Tewhetu 3. Won easily by five lengths. TELEPHONE HACK HANDICAP; G furlongs—Ortygia 1, Ran par® 2. Moreykoff 3. Eight started. Won by length and a half.
KOROKIPO HANDICAP HURDLES; 1 miles —Aorangi 1, Centaur 2. Rangihnctn 3. The only starters. Won from end to end.
NURSTCRY HANDICAP; 4£ furlongs—Sea- Pink I, Ireland 2, Rangintn.'i. 3. Seven started. Won by a leneth.
RACING CLTTB HANDICAP Vi 1. Ivopu 2. Parable 3. Eleven started. The winner led all the way and won by two lengths. PUKETAPI7 HACK HANDICAP; 7 furlongs—Strathmoira I, Mediterranean 2, Niwaril 3.
