BRITISH-COLUMBIA "WHITE."' Press Aswciation-By Telegraph-Copyright VANCOUVER, Oct. 11. The Grand Trunk Pacific Railway Co. applied to the British Columbia Cabinet for permission to import Asiatic labour for railway marking in the proviuco. Tho . application was refused, the Government reiterating that its policy was to preserve British Columbia for whites.
