S.C. TROTTING CLUB

A committee meeting of the South 'Canterbury Trotting Ulub was held in the secretary's office last c uight. Present—Messrs F. C. Watson (in the chair), J. Gilchrist ,W. Connelly, AY. Gootsou, G. Diroltiielci, TV. Ogden, 11. G. Sea-rf, and the secretary, Mr II . H. Mr Connelly thought the totaiisator would popularise the meeting. A rough draft of the annual report and baJance-sheet was presented and approved, and it was resolved that it be printed and circulated among members. The report shows the club to be iu a very satisfactory position. It was resolved that the annual meeting be hold on Friday, July 9th, at the Crown Hotel. The N.Z.
