A Renter's telegram from Paris says:—"The hope is firmly entertained here that the result of the conference between the British Chamber of Commerce, Mr Dean, Minister of Agriculture for Natal and Mr Harrison, commercial agent, will be that a commercial arrangement between France and South Africa will be entered into in the near future.
