It had. no choice. The Labour Party had been definitely committed by its leaders to antagonism to the Wages Board, which meant tearing down the industrial system in each State. The Labour members stood between the working classes and justice. They were powerless to do anything themselves,,, and wished to prevent someone coming in and doing the work they will not, and cannot do.
