Spain is pausing in the military operations in Morocco, being hopeful of good results of the Sherccfian mission to the Riff tribes. BIG MINING CONCESSION. Renter states that in view of the approaching conference to establish mining law in Morocco, the German Mannesmann group has taken the opinion of thirteen authorities on international law, including Professor AA r estlakc of Cambridge, who arc unanimously agreed that the Mnnnesmann concessions are not within the scope ot tho conference. The concessions- cover one tenth of the wholo area- of Morocco.
