Foreign and English newspapers publish sympathetic notices of Prince Ito as the maker of Modern Japan. Prince lto's son, who is at Genoa, en route to Paris and London, recalls the assassination on March 24th of last vear bv Koreans, at San Francisco, of Mr Stevens, who was an American partisan of his father's policy.
