TI.MARU v. CHRISTCHURCH
The local team, leave by second express to-day -to -play: a .-.match, -against .Christchurcli on the Shirley Links on Monday.- The team: consists of Messrs -Barker, Wright, Tasker, Kempthorne,Mannering,- Seymour,- Knubley (captain), Baxter and RcJvell. v On Tliursday next the Oamarir Club -will send a team to play on the Highfield Links. Play will commence im--mediately on arrival of the Oamaru train. Timaru- will be represented by j Barker, Tasker, Cox (captain), T. Lynch, Hay, Baxter, Jefferson', and Hassell. ■
Programmes for.the N.Z. Championship meeting, to be held in Auckland between the 13tli and 18th September, may he obtained from' the local secretary.
