GOLF.
The Tiniaru Golf Club have arranged the following matches: —24th May—v. Christehureh, at Tiniaru; and v. Fairlie, at Fairlie; 31st May—v. Temuka, at Temuka ; 3rd June—v. "Waimate, at annate; and the officers are endeavouring to arrange matches with Geral'iinc at Geraldine for 24th May; and Oaniaru at Oamaru, for 3rd June. Players are requested to get into practice for these events, as playing three mutches on one day the members will require to play well*up to form to hold their own.
Several of the Lindsay medal matches have been played this week, and as there is a large entry of competitors phi vers are urged to play their respective games without delay so that the match will not drag on "too late in the season.
